When it rains
Rain is a moment when dua is answered.
اللَّهُمَّ صَيِّبًا نَافِعًا
Allāhumma ṣayyiban nāfiʿan
O Allah, let it be a beneficial downpour.
After the rain
Names the rain as a mercy from Allah, not from the seasons.
مُطِرْنَا بِفَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَرَحْمَتِهِ
Muṭirnā bi-faḍlillāhi wa raḥmatih
We have been given rain by the grace and mercy of Allah.
