- OneDeen is the parent hub for MyQuran.io and MyHadith.io. It holds the brand, the shared account, and the catalogue of everything the two apps can do.
- Do I read the Quran on OneDeen itself?
- No — reading happens on MyQuran.io, and hadith study happens on MyHadith.io. OneDeen shows you every feature and links you straight into the right app.
- Do I need separate accounts?
- No. One OneDeen account is the identity for the whole family, so your sign-in carries across the apps.
- Are the apps free?
- Yes. Reading the Quran and studying hadith stays free to use.
- What can I do on OneDeen itself?
- OneDeen carries the daily utilities: worldwide prayer times with 12 calculation authorities and a madhab setting, a Qibla compass with live device heading, a sourced dua library grouped by occasion, a tasbih counter for dhikr, a unified search box for both apps, and a “Today on OneDeen” summary on the home page with a live countdown to the next prayer.
- Does OneDeen have a tasbih or dhikr counter?
- Yes — the tasbih counter is at onedeen.io/duas/tasbih. It is free, needs no account, and covers SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar, la ilaha illallah, la hawla wala quwwata illa billah, salawat, istighfar and SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi. Each phrase shows the Arabic, transliteration, meaning, its reported virtue, the recommended count and the hadith it comes from. Tap to count, watch the progress ring fill, and completed rounds are tracked for you.
- How many times should I say SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah and Allahu Akbar?
- The reported pattern after each obligatory prayer is SubhanAllah 33 times, Alhamdulillah 33 times and Allahu Akbar 34 times, making a hundred. The tasbih counter on OneDeen sets those targets for you and shows the hadith each count comes from.
- Are my tasbih counts saved, and are they private?
- They are saved in your own browser on your own device and never sent to a server. No account is needed, so your counts stay private to the browser you use, and clearing site data resets them.
- Can I add prayer times to my calendar?
- Yes. On the prayer times page, choose how early you want to be alerted and tap Subscribe in calendar — Apple Calendar, Google Calendar and Outlook all support the feed. Your calendar refreshes it automatically and alerts you even when OneDeen is closed. You can also download a one-off .ics file.
- How do prayer reminders work, and how do I turn them off?
- There are two kinds. Browser reminders notify you on the device you turned them on, and calendar alerts come from your own calendar app. Turn browser reminders off with the switch on the prayer times page, or remove the subscribed calendar to stop calendar alerts. The Manage notifications section on that page explains both.
- Is my location stored on your servers?
- No. Your location, calculation method and reminder settings are saved in your browser on your device. Prayer times are calculated locally, and the calendar feed only receives the coordinates contained in the link you subscribe with.
- Can I install OneDeen like an app?
- Yes. OneDeen is a progressive web app — add it to your home screen from your browser menu and it opens full screen in one tap, with shortcuts straight to prayer times and the Qibla compass.
- How can I support OneDeen?
- The best free ways are to use OneDeen daily, share it with others, and add it to your home screen. If you want to help fund the project, you can give any amount you like — once or monthly — on the Support page. There is no fixed price: we suggest a few amounts, but anything is welcome.
- Is there a set price or membership fee?
- No. Giving is pay-what-you-want. Suggested amounts are only hints, and you can enter your own amount instead. Reading the Quran and studying hadith on OneDeen, MyQuran.io and MyHadith.io stays completely free either way.
- Does any of my contribution go to charity?
- Yes. 20% of every contribution is donated to charity. The remainder covers hosting, data and building new utilities such as prayer times and the Qibla compass. The full details are on the Giving Terms page.
- Do I get a receipt when I give?
- Yes. Every completed contribution sends an automatic email receipt to the address on your account, showing the amount, the date, whether it was one-time or monthly, and the 20% charity portion of that contribution.
- Where can I read the full giving terms?
- The Giving Terms page at onedeen.io/giving-terms explains pay-what-you-want giving, the 20% charity share, where donations are routed, receipts, and how to change, cancel or refund a contribution.
- Do MyQuran.io and MyHadith.io take payments separately?
- No. All giving across the OneDeen family is collected in one place on onedeen.io under one account, so you only set it up once and it supports every app in the family.
- What do supporters get?
- A Supporter badge on your OneDeen account and the knowledge that you keep the hub and its daily utilities free, calm and ad-free for everyone. We keep the perks light on purpose — nothing is paywalled.
- Who runs these sites?
