All duas

Anxiety and a racing mind duas

These are for the low, restless kind of worry — the mind that will not settle. If you are in acute grief or a crisis, the distress collection is closer to what you need.

Ever-Living, All-Sustaining

Yā Ḥayyu yā Qayyūm bi-raḥmatika astaghīth

O Ever-Living, O All-Sustaining, by Your mercy I seek relief.

Said when distress presses in.

Do not leave me to myself

Allāhumma raḥmataka arjū fa-lā takilnī ilā nafsī, wa aṣliḥ lī shaʾnī kullah

O Allah, it is Your mercy I hope for, so do not leave me to myself, and put all of my affairs in order.

Refuge from weakness and fear

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika min al-ʿajzi wal-kasali wal-jubni wal-bukhli wal-haram

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from incapacity, laziness, cowardice, miserliness and frailty.
