Why aren't live donation counters shown?

When the numbers are small, raw counters like '$X contributed' can look less meaningful than the actual charity work being funded. We focus on telling you exactly how the split works: 20% to charity, 80% to keeping OneDeen running. Once support is larger, we may bring live counters back.

How do quarterly payouts work?

Every three months the 20% charity pool is added up and sent to the vetted 501(c)(3) organisations on our slate. The split is guided by the non-binding preferences givers express at checkout, so the causes readers lean toward get a heavier share. If you did not pick a preference, your portion is folded into the overall pool.
