A madhab is a school of Islamic jurisprudence. The Shafi/Maliki/Hanbali schools use a shadow-length ratio for Asr that differs from the Hanafi school, so Asr can be later in the Hanafi view.

Yes. OneDeen publishes an iCal/ICS feed you can subscribe to in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook. Your calendar then alerts you at each prayer time — you can choose the alert to fire 5 to 30 minutes early — even when the site is closed.

How do prayer reminders work?

There are two options. Prayer reminders are sent from OneDeen's server to your device once you allow notifications, so they arrive even when OneDeen is closed. The calendar subscription alerts you through your phone or computer calendar anywhere. Both are optional, and your reminder settings can be turned off at any time.

Are the prayer times accurate for any location?

OneDeen uses the adhan astronomical library with your chosen calculation method and madhab. Times are accurate for locations with standard coordinates; high-latitude locations use the recommended high-latitude rule.
