Quran verses about Allah's mercy
Allah's mercy in the Quran comes before His anger — "My mercy encompasses all things" (7:156). Every chapter but one opens with "In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful," and the Quran itself is described as "a healing and mercy" (17:82). These verses are for anyone who has wondered whether their wrongs are too many to be forgiven.

My mercy encompasses all things
Mercy
قَالَ عَذَابِيٓ أُصِيبُ بِهِۦ مَنۡ أَشَآءُۚ وَرَحۡمَتِي وَسِعَتۡ كُلَّ شَيۡءࣲۚ فَسَأَكۡتُبُهَا لِلَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ وَيُؤۡتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَٱلَّذِينَ هُم بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ
He answered, "I will inflict My punishment on whom I will. But My mercy encompasses everything. I will ordain mercy for those who shun ˹idolatry˺, pay alms-tax, and believe in Our revelations."
"My mercy encompasses all things." The widest statement in the Quran.

Mercy
وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ مَا هُوَ شِفَآءࣱ وَرَحۡمَةࣱ لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَلَا يَزِيدُ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا خَسَارًا
We send down the Quran as a healing and mercy for the believers, but it only increases the wrongdoers in loss

Do not despair of the mercy of Allah
Forgiveness
۞قُلۡ يَٰعِبَادِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَسۡرَفُواْ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِمۡ لَا تَقۡنَطُواْ مِن رَّحۡمَةِ ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَغۡفِرُ ٱلذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًاۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
Say, ˹O Prophet, that Allah says,˺ “O My servants who have exceeded the limits against their souls! Do not lose hope in Allah’s mercy, for Allah certainly forgives all sins. He is indeed the All-Forgiving, Most Merciful
Do not despair of Allah's mercy — He forgives all sins.

Mercy
وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ رَبَّكُمۡ ثُمَّ تُوبُواْ إِلَيۡهِۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي رَحِيمࣱ وَدُودࣱ
Seek your Lord's forgiveness ˹O people˺ and repent to Him. My Lord is indeed Most Merciful, Most Loving
