Quran verses about gratitude
Gratitude (shukr) in the Quran is a direct exchange: "remember Me; I will remember you. And thank Me" (2:152), and "if you are grateful, I will surely give you more" (14:7). These verses link thankfulness to increase, and ungratefulness to loss — read them to turn small blessings into sustained ones.
Shukr is not only a feeling but a response the Quran rewards. The verses below show the tie between remembering Allah's favours and receiving more of them.

Remember Me, and I will remember you
Gratitude
فَٱذۡكُرُونِيٓ أَذۡكُرۡكُمۡ وَٱشۡكُرُواْ لِي وَلَا تَكۡفُرُونِ
remember Me; I will remember you. And thank Me, and never be ungrateful

If you are grateful, I will surely give you more
Gratitude
وَإِذۡ تَأَذَّنَ رَبُّكُمۡ لَئِن شَكَرۡتُمۡ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمۡۖ وَلَئِن كَفَرۡتُمۡ إِنَّ عَذَابِي لَشَدِيدࣱ
And ˹remember˺ when your Lord proclaimed, ‘If you are grateful, I will certainly give you more. But if you are ungrateful, surely My punishment is severe.’”
If you are grateful, I will give you more; if ungrateful, My punishment is severe.
Be grateful to Allah — whoever is grateful, it is for their own good
Gratitude
وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا لُقۡمَٰنَ ٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ أَنِ ٱشۡكُرۡ لِلَّهِۚ وَمَن يَشۡكُرۡ فَإِنَّمَا يَشۡكُرُ لِنَفۡسِهِۦۖ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَنِيٌّ حَمِيدࣱ
We certainly endowed Luqmân with wisdom. ˹And said to him,˺ "Be grateful to Allah, for whoever is grateful, it is for their own good. And whoever is ungrateful, then surely Allah is Self-Sufficient, Praiseworthy."
Whoever is grateful, it is for their own good; Allah is free of need.
Then which of your Lord's favours will you deny?

فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Then which of your Lord’s favours will you ˹humans and jinn˺ both deny
