Quran verses about friendship
"The believers are but one brotherhood" (49:10). The Quran tells the Prophet ﷺ to "stay with those who call upon their Lord morning and evening" (18:28), and warns that on the Last Day close friends become enemies "except the righteous" (43:67). Friendship in the Quran is judged by where it leads you.

Friendship
إِنَّمَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ فَأَصْلِحُوا۟ بَيْنَ أَخَوَيْكُمْ ۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
The believers are but one brotherhood, so make peace between your brothers. And be mindful of Allah so you may be shown mercy

Friendship
وَٱصْبِرْ نَفْسَكَ مَعَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُم بِٱلْغَدَوٰةِ وَٱلْعَشِىِّ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَهُۥ ۖ وَلَا تَعْدُ عَيْنَاكَ عَنْهُمْ تُرِيدُ زِينَةَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا ۖ وَلَا تُطِعْ مَنْ أَغْفَلْنَا قَلْبَهُۥ عَن ذِكْرِنَا وَٱتَّبَعَ هَوَىٰهُ وَكَانَ أَمْرُهُۥ فُرُطًا
And patiently stick with those who call upon their Lord morning and evening, seeking His pleasure. Do not let your eyes look beyond them, desiring the luxuries of this worldly life. And do not obey those whose hearts We have made heedless of Our remembrance, who follow ˹only˺ their desires and whose state is ˹total˺ loss
Stay with those who remember their Lord.
Close friends will be enemies on that Day, except the righteous
Friendship
ٱلْأَخِلَّآءُ يَوْمَئِذٍۭ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ إِلَّا ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ
Close friends will be enemies to one another on that Day, except the righteous
Only righteous friendships last into the Hereafter.

Worship Allah, associate none with Him, and be kind to parents
Parents
وَٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَلَا تُشۡرِكُواْ بِهِۦ شَيۡـًٔاۖ وَبِٱلۡوَٰلِدَيۡنِ اِحۡسَٰنًا وَبِٱلۡقَرۡبَىٰ وَٱلۡيَتَٰمَىٰ وَٱلۡمَسَٰكِينِ وَٱلۡجَارِ ذِي ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ وَٱلۡجَارِ ٱلۡجُنُبِ وَٱلصَّاحِبِ بِٱلجَنۢبِ وَٱبۡنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ وَمَا مَلَكَتۡ أَيۡمَٰنُكُمۡ
Worship Allah ˹alone˺ and associate none with Him. And be kind to parents, relatives, orphans, the poor, near and distant neighbours, fellow travellers, and ˹your˺ slaves
Kindness to the neighbour and the companion at your side.
Whoever restrains their anger, Allah loves the good-doers
Anger
ٱلَّذِینَ یُنفِقُونَ فِی ٱلسَّرَّاۤءِ وَٱلضَّرَّاۤءِ وَٱلۡكَـٰظِمِینَ ٱلۡغَیۡظَ وَٱلۡعَافِینَ عَنِ ٱلنَّاسِۗ وَٱللَّهُ یُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِینَ
˹They are˺ those who donate in prosperity and adversity, control their anger, and pardon others. And Allah loves the good-doers
Pardon people — the mark of the good.
