Surah Al-Fil (الفيل) — The Elephant

1. Ayah 1

   بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَٰبِ ٱلْفِيلِ

   Have you not seen ˹O Prophet˺ how your Lord dealt with the Army of the Elephant

2. Ayah 2

   أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِى تَضْلِيلٍ

   Did He not frustrate their scheme

3. Ayah 3

   وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ

   For He sent against them flocks of birds

4. Ayah 4

   تَرْمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٍ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ

   that pelted them with stones of baked clay

5. Ayah 5

   فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَّأْكُولٍۭ

   leaving them like chewed up straw
