Surah Al-Humazah (الهمزة) — The Traducer

1. Ayah 1

   بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَيْلٌ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُّمَزَةٍ

   Woe to every backbiter, slanderer

2. Ayah 2

   ٱلَّذِى جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ

   who amasses wealth ˹greedily˺ and counts it ˹repeatedly˺

3. Ayah 3

   يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخْلَدَهُۥ

   thinking that their wealth will make them immortal

4. Ayah 4

   كَلَّا ۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِى ٱلْحُطَمَةِ

   Not at all! Such a person will certainly be tossed into the Crusher

5. Ayah 5

   وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْحُطَمَةُ

   And what will make you realize what the Crusher is

6. Ayah 6

   نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُوقَدَةُ

   ˹It is˺ Allah’s kindled Fire

7. Ayah 7

   ٱلَّتِى تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةِ

   which rages over the hearts

8. Ayah 8

   إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِم مُّؤْصَدَةٌ

   It will be sealed over them

9. Ayah 9

   فِى عَمَدٍ مُّمَدَّدَةٍۭ

   ˹tightly secured˺ with long braces
